Parents on Facebook

Everyone, lets face the fact that having parents on your Facebook page can be both troublesome and embarrassing. Parents constantly check your profile and write enough "I love you"'s to make you not want to go to school and face the snigger's and snide comments that are waiting for you there.

In my opinion and experience, dads are less prying than moms are. Lets just say that becuase our moms take care of us most of the time they expect to take over our social networking lives as well. It could be any teenager's worst nightmare to meet such a parent. Dads are cooler in a way and they mostly adapt a "do what you want" attitude where they sit back and relax while you go and do what you want. I am assuming that the dad version of taking care of things are much more popular to teenagers.

We as teens in this rather diverse society must also be aware that there are certain dangers in this world. Instead of giving you the "If you see something suspicious, go tell a parent/guardian" lalala, I'm going to give some examples. We all know what a pedophile is, right? Well, anyone that you see on the street might be a pedophile. You think that everyone on the Internet is like their profile picture? Well, sorry, but I have to ruin your fairy tale. They can be whatever and you don't know. Computer hacking is a common art among some people, and they can hack your computer faster than you can say "Boo!" You think your safe behind your computer? Well, your not. A pedophile can be lurking right outside your window. Time to check it every five minutes!

Which brings me back to my main point.

Parents are as annoying as they are because they care about us. I am not going to lead you through this whole song and dance about how parents care about us and all that because we have all heard this a million times through. None of you guys need me to repeat what other people say because that is boring and annoying. But because parents DO have more experience than we on most situations, we can trust them on these real life situations. That just sounded really corny, but still thats the truth.

Lets take me for an example. I hate it whenever my mom checks on my Facebook. She's always like"Oooh, whats this?" and all that. If someone says something stupid or rude, I'm always so humiliated because my mom asks "Do you know this person?" I don't feel that she has the right to check on my Facebook. Its MINE after all, so who does she think she is to check on me? But that's just my personal opinion.

The conclusion of this post is this: If you are a responsible person like me, then your parents don't need to check up on you. But if you have over-reactive parents like I do, then I guess then it sucks for you.

Anyway, thanks for reading! Hope you have a great day!

Near the End of the School Year

Its that time of the year again guys.

Its May, and summer vacation is more or less a month away. No one can be more excited than I for school to be over. This is quite a shocking feeling. I have never looked forward to the end of a school year more than I do now. The summer is nearly upon us, and it is up to us to not run out of steam and continue to the end.

AP Chem tests are not as fun as it seems. The actual AP test was a couple of weeks ago, but we still have chapter tests in class! This is absolutely ridiculous. The AP test is the whole point of taking the class. Now that the class is over, we should be able to relax and sit back for a while. But oh no, this is totally not the case. We still have to study all weekend for a test that is so hard my ass nearly falls off.

You might have noticed that I have been blogging a lot lately. This is because in the past few days, my parents have gotten into this habit of checking my backpack and taking out the books that are in my backpack. What do I do now? What will save me from the tiring, monotonous hours of school? Only the hope of blogging will be able to do that. Although this post and the ones before it were not drafted, many if not all of the later posts in this blog from here on all through the summer will be drafted. I will be doing this in class because I don't have any books to read. I know that I should be doing homework, studying whatever. But I don't need to do that because school is getting kinda easy.

I toyed with the thought of getting into cross country, but then I decided against it. Why? Because you have to run endless miles starting at 5 in the morning. This is too hard for me because I would be dead for the rest of the day and I would not be able to get any studying done. Junior year is also supposed to be the hardest year of all in all of the 4 years of high school, and I am not going to add cross country into that mix.

OK, my parents are coming out, so I'd better end this.

Expect more posts in the future.

Some people...

Have anyone ever annoyed you or pissed you off to the point that you want to either punch them in the face or strangle their ugly necks? I have felt this way before, and let me tell you why.

First person is my mom. Let me tell you, I have the worst mom in the world. She doesn't give a damn if I live or not. She only cares about her own job and life. I think she only had me so she could brag and have a standing among other moms. Other people have rocking moms who let them do what they want and NOT MOVE THEM AWAY FROM WHERE THEY WANT TO BE.

But I digress.

There are some people that are arrogant enough to stick their nose in the air and show everybody the fungus that is growing under their nose. I simply hate these kind of people. Seriously, take a look at yourselves in the mirror and tell yourself that you are not the most important person in the world. Stop lying to yourself and just say it. Like seriously, why do you think the world revolves around you. I'm sorry, but no one cares about your gross ass.

I know your probably asking why I am doing this. Maybe its because I'm surrounded by narcissists who can't simply walk past a mirror without checking themselves twice. Maybe they have to visit the school restrooms like 10 times a day and check how their hair is. I just get irritated when the restroom is just crowded with people "checking their hair". I want to scream sometimes when I meet these people.

Anyway. If your one of those people, I don't think that we can be very good friends, preferably not at all. But if your not one of those people, sure why not we can be friends any time. Just come up to me and ask me to be friends with you or whatever.

See you around at school or whatever.
