Hello. My name is Gina, as you guys probably know already. As of today, I am 17 years old and enjoying life. Most people in the blogging world don't realize I'm a teenager unless I tell them in their face. Here are some things about my blog:
1) I started this blog in 2010, when I was sick and tired of studying. Since then, I've gained a fairly large amount of readers who feel that my work has some meaning. I hope that everyone thinks so. For the most part, I write from a personal point of view. I always hope to expand my readership.
2) I hope that there are people out there that share my views and agree with them.
3) I live in LA, but I hope to live in London after college. I'm planning to major in Political Science and possibly creative writing. Then I'm applying to medical school.
4) I try to keep a certain degree of literariness in my posts. I hope that, if I don't become a doctor later in life, I can work as an editor for some magazine.
5) I take everything semi-seriously. Although I am younger than most "serious" people, believe me, I am actually a fairly serious person. I sometimes make practical jokes, but it's been a couple of years. I'm also pretty much random, which might scare some people.
6) This blog is for everyone. Feel free to be yourself.
I really like how you developed your blog the year that it has been on the internet. That really inspires me to write.

ReplyDeleteWell, let's say that I'm sort of debating on that one. I counted myself Christian until I was thirteen. Now, I'm debating whether or not I should go back to Christianity.
DeleteI've lived a long, long time and in that time I've learned that there are as many paths to God as people on the planet and God doesn't give a crap which one you take. So don't get caught up in that "one true" shit. It just makes God laugh.
DeleteTo injaynesworld , I'm sorry that you feel this way, but God says he is the path, the truth and the light. He also says that the one way to heaven is threw Jesus. God does not laugh when people follow Satan, he punishes them.

ReplyDeleteI just read your profile and smiled when I saw that you liked "Flowers for Algernon". I read that book when I was about your age and I remember it still! Good reading! There is nothing wrong with being serious, life is serious business, as long as we keep open minds about new ideas, and know when to relax and have a little fun! ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Have you considered writing books as a sideline? A few of my followers are writers as young as you. I turned up my nose at a writing class in high school because I thought I wanted to be a doctor or a fashion designer. I ended up as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and didn't start writing until I hit the half-century mark. Then I found out I loved writing as much as reading, maybe more. Writing books is also great practice for editing.
